Accessibility Statement

We are committed to ensuring this website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. This page explains the standards we follow and how to contact us if you encounter a barrier.

Our Commitment

We aim for this directory to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). We have not completed a formal, independent conformance audit, so we do not claim full conformance.

Standard we work toward

We use WCAG 2.1 Level AA and WAI-ARIA authoring practices as our design and development reference.

Accessibility Features

Design intentions, not tested guarantees. Tell us if you find a page where one falls short.

Keyboard Navigation

Interactive elements are designed to work with a keyboard, and a skip link jumps past the header to the main content.

Screen Reader Support

We use semantic HTML, landmarks and descriptive labels so assistive technologies can convey page structure and controls.

Color Contrast

Body text and controls are designed to meet the WCAG AA contrast minimum (4.5:1 for normal text).

Focus Indicators

Interactive elements are designed to show a visible focus indicator when you navigate with a keyboard.

Reduced Motion

Animations are designed to be reduced when your operating system is set to prefer reduced motion.

Responsive Design

Layouts are designed to adapt to narrow screens and browser zoom without loss of content.

Touch Targets

Primary buttons and form controls are sized for touch (about 44 × 44 pixels).

Form Accessibility

Form fields are designed with visible labels, announced error messages and clearly marked required fields.

How We Test

Checks we aim to run when changing the site (not a full audit):

  • Keyboard checks of forms and dialogs we change
  • Colour contrast checks of text and controls we change
  • Reduced-motion preference testing via prefers-reduced-motion

Known Limitations

Areas we know may fall short:

  • The compliance-card PDF is generated automatically and is not fully tagged for screen readers. The same information is on the web page.
  • Agency logos come from each agency and may have low contrast.
  • External sites we link to (agency websites, review platforms, LinkedIn) are outside our control.

If you find a barrier not listed above, please let us know.

Report an Accessibility Barrier

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of this website, we want to hear from you. Please include:

  • The page URL where you encountered the issue
  • A description of the barrier
